Description

Situated on the border between central China’s Henan and Shanxi, Lingbao II project expanded the original asynchronous interconnection by an additional 750 MW and thus increases the possibilities of power exchange between the two grids. For this extension, C-EPRI Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. provided converter valves and control system components. This is the first project in the world adopting 6-inch 4500A thyristors.
